Health Professionals are part of the national framework agreement (NFA) for the supply of agency nurses, which commenced on 1st October 2009. The agreement runs for a three year period with the potential to extend for up to a maximum of a further 12 months. This agreement replaces both the Multi Regional framework agreement (MRAP) and the London Agency Project framework agreement (LAP3) which both expired on 30th September 2009.
Buying Solutions has put in place a number of national framework agreements for temporary staffing with reputable commercial recruitment agencies to meet the NHS demand for these services. These agreements have been developed alongside NHS stakeholders to provide quality staff and services at competitive market rates.
When you use Health Professionals as a supplier of staff, you have the assurance that Buying Solutions’ own national audit team inspects us. The audit team ensures that NHS Employers’ quality and code of practice standards are maintained and that the framework agencies and their temporary workforce are compliant with all national guidelines for occupational health and identification security. This includes the validation of qualifications and Criminal Records Bureau checks.
Whilst our frameworks seek to provide value for money for the NHS, patient safety and clinical governance are high priority drivers for not only the construction of our frameworks but also the ongoing review of framework agencies adherence to these standards.
In addition of the security and protection we can offer in terms of compliant staff to your NHS environment, Health Professionals have further developed our checks to offer even greater piece of mind.
