Are you looking for an assignment within HDU/CCU?
Look no further…
If you have HDU/CCU nursing experience, come and join our specialist HDU/CCU nursing temps service. We have lots of HDU/CCU nursing jobs in London, and around the UK and Ireland.
You’ll receive superb benefits and excellent rates of pay attached to each position (Band 5 and 6).
So what’s so different about Health Professionals? Unlike other specialist HDU/CCU nursing agencies, we don’t offer extra benefits and incentives to convince you to work through us rather than other agencies. We’re confident that our rates of pay, solid service and our support are incentive enough…
We make it easier for you to care. We focus our energies on arranging block bookings within HDU/CCU so if you’re in a position to work in this way, we would be delighted to find you work.
You’ll feel like part of a team. We’ll do all we can to make sure you fit in with our clients’ HDU/CCU nursing teams. For example, some of our clients will supply you with their hospital uniforms and ID badges so you feel part of their team from the start.
Our HDU/CCU nurses return to our established clients time and again.
Being a Health Professionals’ HDU/CCU nurse enables you to build trusting relationships with our clients, who will put their trust in your skill and experience over time. So, you won’t need to worry about becoming “deskilled” whilst being on an assignment as a HDU/CCU nurse.
Learn as you care. Knowing how well you’re nursing is so important – whatever the stage of your career. We always give our agency nurses feedback from our clients, and don’t wait for formal appraisals to do this. Feedback is important for us, as well as our nurses, so we can work together to give our clients (and their patients) the best possible levels of care.
We’re here to support you, as well as your career. We offer continuing professional development, with all mandatory training being provided free of charge, and also have a professional training fund in place, should you wish to attend a conference or course relating to your specialist area.
Earn as you care. We recognise your experience in HDU/CCU, and whenever possible, will negotiate a higher band to reflect your level of experience.
We’ll supply you with a full breakdown of rates when we make contact with you. Health Professionals is part of a number of NHS agreements and our rates are very competitive for this area of critical care, our specialist nursing area.
For example, our band 5 rates (critical care) for working in London are between 26.48 to £42.37 per hour and Band 6 between £30.60 and £48.95 – rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07% - full breakdown of rates on contact.

Great ITU Nursing Agency Block Bookings
Reviewer: S Ramsay-Moore, Registered ITU Nurse (London, United Kingdom)
I have been happy with the services provided to me by Health Professionals over the last 4 years, they have always found me work in my relevant nursing areas - ITU (Intensive Care Nursing), Oncology and Community when I needed it. I have also worked in some fantastic clinics as an IV nurse.
ITU Nursing and Nursing Agencies London
Reviewer: Gordon Bell, ICU Registered Nurse (Melbourne, Australia)
Health Professionals has always been very supportive; giving sound advice on how to progress my career. They’re really easy to speak to and consider personal circumstances and requirements, while some agencies can adopt a ‘one size fits all’ approach to placing staff. When I first arrived in the UK, I started as an Occupational Health nurse, but Health Professionals quickly progressed to my nursing specialty – and preference – Intensive Care nursing.
