Are you looking for an nurses agency assignment within Midwifery?

Look no further…

If you have midwifery experience, come and join our midwives temps service. We have lots of midwifery jobs in London, and around the UK and Ireland.

You’ll receive superb benefits and excellent rates of pay attached to each position (minimum band 6 rates).

So what’s so different about Health Professionals? Unlike other midwifery agencies, we don’t offer extra benefits and incentives to convince you to work through us rather than other agencies. We’re confident that our unique midwifery rates of pay, solid service and our support are incentive enough…

We make it easier for you to care. We focus our energies on arranging block bookings within midwifery so if you’re in a position to work in this way, we would be delighted to find you work.

You’ll feel like part of a team. We’ll do all we can to make sure you fit in with our clients’ midwifery teams. For example, some of our clients will supply you with their hospital uniforms and ID badges so you feel part of their team from the start.

Our midwives return to our established clients time and again. We will typically introduce you to a Unit before your first shift so you can meet the team and discuss how the maternity unit operates so you are completely at ease on your first day. When you come to our offices for your registration interview, you will be interviewed by an experienced midwife with experience of current practice. As a specialist Midwifery Agency, you will find that we speak your language.

Being a Health Professionals’ midwife enables you to build trusting relationships with our clients, who will put their trust in your skill and experience over time. So, you won’t need to worry about becoming “deskilled” whilst being on an assignment as a midwife.

Learn as you care. Knowing how well you’re nursing is so important – whatever the stage of your career. We always give our agency nurses feedback from our clients, and don’t wait for formal appraisals to do this. Feedback is important for us, as well as our nurses, so we can work together to give our clients (and their patients) the best possible levels of care.

We’re here to support you, as well as your career. We offer continuing professional development, with all mandatory training being provided free of charge, and also have a professional training fund in place, should you wish to attend a conference or course relating to your specialist area.

Earn as you care. We recognise your experience in midwifery, and whenever possible, will negotiate a higher band to reflect your level of experience.

We’ll supply you with a full breakdown of rates when we make contact with you. Health Professionals is part of a number of NHS agreements and our rates are very competitive for the area of midwifery, a specialist nursing area for Health Professionals.

For example, our rates for working within London band 6 are between £23.53 to £37.66 (Sundays) per hour depending on Shifts Pattern. Rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07% - full breakdown of rates on contact.
