Heart Health Advisors
Health Professionals require a team of “Heart Health Advisors” for a forthcoming unique project in Manchester who possess the following skills:
> Experience in care or nursing, health promotion or pharmacy
> Must be positive and an effective communicator
> Experience on working with a diverse group of people from all social and ethnic backgrounds
> Grade 3 or 4 Healthcare Assistant or Dietetic Assistant or person or a similar background e.g. experienced counselor, community support worker
> Some experience of health promotion required
> Demonstrate evidence of providing and receiving sensitive information with empathy and reassurance
Your role will be to provide:
> Face to face support and guidance to people on the lifestyle that can promote heart health.
> Provide a credible and evidence based lifestyle assessment service in line with set policy and guidelines.
> Excellent standards of customer service through effective assessment and provision of appropriate support and guidance.
Additional Information:
Hours and Days > Typically 10am to 6pm Tuesday to Saturday
Pay rate > To be discussed on application
