Health Professionals Neonatal Nursing Service is a specialist nursing agency for nurses. We have contracts with a number of Neonatal Units within NHS hospitals in London and around the UK, and help NICU/PICU Nurses with temporary assignments to suit lifestyles and working preferences.

Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NICU) and Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) Jobs and Assignments.

Are you looking for an assignment that's care-intensive?

Look no further…

If you have NICU / PICU nursing experience, come and join our specialist NICU / PICU nursing temps service. We have lots of NICU / PICU nursing jobs in London, and around the UK.

You’ll receive superb benefits and excellent rates of pay attached to each position (Band 5 and 6).

So what’s so different about Health Professionals? Unlike other specialist Neonatal nursing agencies, we don’t offer extra benefits and incentives to convince you to work through us rather than other agencies. We’re confident that our rates of pay, solid service and our support are incentive enough…

We make it easier for you to care.
We focus our energies on arranging block bookings within Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care so if you’re in a position to work a number of long days or nights a week within a neonatal intensive care department, we would be delighted to find you work.

Our clients help us to make it easier for you to care.
Some of our private and NHS hospital clients offer flexible accommodation options, enabling you to stay over onsite for a couple of nights without having to commit to weekly room rent.

You’ll feel like part of a team. We’ll do all we can to make sure you fit in with our clients’ NICU or PICU units and Neonatal/Paediatric Nursing teams. For example, some of our clients will supply you with their hospital uniforms and ID badges so you feel part of their team from the start.

Our NICU / PICU nurses return to our established clients time and again. Generally, NICU / PICU agency nurses are perceived as not working with high acuity patients; rather being apportioned the more mundane care duties.

But being a Health Professionals’ NICU / PICU nurse enables you to build trusting relationships with our clients, who will put their trust in your skill and experience over time. So, you won’t need to worry about becoming “deskilled” whilst being on an assignment, because you’ll work your way to being at the centre of intensive care.

Learn as you care. Knowing how well you’re nursing is so important – whatever the stage of your career. We always give our agency nurses feedback from our clients, and don’t wait for formal appraisals to do this. Feedback is important for us, as well as our nurses, so we can work together to give our clients (and their patients) the best possible levels of care.

We’re here to support you, as well as your career. We offer continuing professional development, with all mandatory training being provided free of charge, and also have a professional training fund in place, should you wish to attend a conference or course relating to your specialist area.

Earn as you care. We recognise your experience in NICU / PICU, and whenever possible, will negotiate a higher band to reflect your level of experience.

We’ll supply you with a full breakdown of rates when we make contact with you. Health Professionals is part of a number of NHS agreements and our rates are very competitive for this area of critical care, our specialist nursing area.

What are you doing now? If you’re ready to be a Health Professionals’ NICU / PICU nurse, you will…
