Job Description

We are recruiting for a Health Visitor to start as soon as possible. We have a variety of terms to suit your needs offering the successful candidate flexible working hours. This is a Band 6 position. Knowledge and Skills required: -- Specialist Practitioner qualification, Health Visiting Evidence of continuing professional development -- Recent experience of working in the community -- Post registration health visiting experienceis desirable -- Ability to undertake health needs assessment and work in partnership with clients -- Knowledge of Child Protection issues -- Ability to work in a team and delegate appropriately -- Ability to autonomously manage a designated caseload -- Aware of NMC Professional Codes -- Knowledge of NHS developments -- Knowledge of current health and social care policy -- Ability to communicate with clarity, effectiveness and empathy, to both clients and colleagues -- Ability to work collaboratively with others across organisational and clinical boundaries -- Specialist clinical knowledge
