Recruitment Nurse Coordinator
Permanent, Knightsbridge / Part-time considered
Want to use your RN heritage to play a vital part in specialist nursing recruitment?
Nursing isn’t always about being on a ward. Nursing experience and knowledge can be used to care for patients in a different way…
About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Nurse (RN) with proven organisational and interviewing skills within the healthcare industry. You should possess a valid NMC Pin (First Level Nurses only).
Based in our central London office in Knightsbridge, this is a dynamic role focusing on recruiting top quality nurses and the efficient running of our specialist supply operation to renowned NHS and private hospitals – primarily in the South of England, but also in the central region. Being a car driver would be desirable.
This role’s key elements are managing the recruitment of experienced registered nurses, and overseeing the journey for those nurses from selection to appraisal.
Normal office hours are between 9am – 5.30pm. Some flexibility will be required for conducting staff training and interviews off-site. Full training will be provided in line with NMC and our own policies and procedures.
About you
You must have worked at Band 6 level within the NHS and ideally come from a specialist background, such as ITU or Accident and Emergency.
The role is essentially to select and interview specialist nursing staff for our service, within London and also in locations across the south and central England. Previous experience of interviewing staff is desirable but training will be provided.
It requires an excellent clinician and communicator – someone who is adept at prioritising work and effectively sifting through new applications to help us identify only the best people for our service.
Being a disciplined self-starter should be second-nature, as should being discreet and professional, especially when liaising with some of our NHS and private healthcare clients.
You should also be qualified – or willing to train and qualify – to deliver basic life support to our candidates and venepuncture for occupational health purposes, when required.
About us
We are a 24-hour, busy and efficiently-run hospital staffing provider operating at high standards: Standards that consistently achieve ‘excellent’ rating following audits by prominent healthcare industry bodies as well as recently achieving 100% compliance in recent NHS audits.
