We are seeking a Team Leader to join an Early Hospital Discharge Team.
If you are a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge and could contribute and support the Clinical Care Coordinator by transforming the experiences of hundreds of NHS Service users, this could be YOU!
OPPORTUNITY
To join a new exciting Service, overseeing early discharge from hospital to home and home nursing care.
The successful candidate would coordinate this innovative regime providing nursing care for patients in their own homes who would otherwise be in hospital. This Service caters for patients who have undergone elective surgery, unplanned surgery as well as hospital admissions for medical conditions.
Support the Clinical Care Co-ordinator in providing effective clinical and managerial leadership to nursing, other professional and support staff ensuring the effective delivery at all times of high quality care and responding to changes in patient needs and service level requirements as appropriate.
WHO WOULD THIS ROLE BE GREAT FOR?
If you meet the following requirements, this could be YOU!
- NMC registration
- Minimum 3 years experience managing teams (essential)
- At least 1 years recent experience of leading clinical teams in an acute or community setting
- Experienced with Cannulation, Venepuncture and IV Therapy
- A background in Orthopaedics, Surgical or Community Nursing would be advantageous
- Car driver with vehicle access (essential)
SALARY
Salary Range £28,000 - £32,500 (depending on experience)
